Vows Under Misty Mountains

Between bouts of rain and even a brief hailstorm, Mollie and Joey kept their spirits high and their clothes dry. The rainy weather also made for some seriously moody photos featuring deep, rich montane colors that will certainly make for phenomenal memories of this joyful day.

Mollie and Joey were welcomed to a cool July morning on their wedding day. They spent the morning taking their wedding party photos during a break in the rain and enjoying the company of their closest friends and family.

The ceremony site was decorated modestly, with chiffon and wooden accents. The rain stopped just as their romantic ceremony began. They organized a petal toss after the marriage license signing, where Mollie and Joey were showered with white rose petals before sneaking off to the National Park for photos.

As guests made their way back to the chateau, they were greeted by Mountain Crust Pizza’s rustic wood-fired pizza trailer and vintage truck for hors d’oeuvres and cocktails indoors.

The reception hall was beautifully decorated with rustic wood and sage green accents and simple summery floral centerpieces. Sage linen napkins accented the ivory table linens, which gave the room a distinctly mid-summer wedding feel. One wonderful detail was a note of gratitude from the couple that expressed their appreciation and admiration for each of their guests in attendance.

Mountain Crust provided both a dinner and an experience, tossing pizzas in the wood-fired oven and conversing with hungry guests as they passed through the buffet line. They even called Mollie and Joey back behind the line to create their own pizza. Meanwhile, Suit and Tie DJs kept the dance floor warm inside with a constant flow of dance-inducing hits.

Mollie and Joey, congratulations on this gorgeous summer wedding!
