Moody in May

Emily and Patrick’s wedding day had all the rainy weather vibes you can imagine. With low hanging clouds, dim lighting, and deep green colors, these photos will show you the all possibilities of a gorgeous rainy wedding.

As Emily and Patrick readied themselves in the salon and theater, La Luna Florals began to decorate with grandiose floral displays, centerpieces, and floral accents around the reception hall and ceremony site.

The couple booked Estes Park Trolleys to ensure guests staying around Estes Park arrived and departed safely. Everyone made their way to the ceremony site, where ushers handed out Della Terra’s umbrellas, seat cushions, and blankets to stay warm and dry during the outdoor ceremony. Emily and Patrick took center stage, flanked by florals and the wedding party for a deeply touching ceremony. Afterwards, the rain broke and they made their way back down the wedding path as their friends and family showered them with flower petals.

While Emily and Patrick took couples portraits, their guests headed inside for cocktail hour. They passed through the stunning reception hall featuring peach, white, and mauve roses adorning the ivory table linens and hunter green napkins.

As cocktail hour wrapped, everyone found their seats using custom wooden escort chart and acrylic table numbers. Electric candles provided romantic, moody lighting to the banquet style seating. Greens Point Catering provided a wonderful meal and cake for the evening. The newlyweds wandered outside for a few more dreamy portraits under gloomy skies and the outdoor cafe lighting. DJ Connection then called Emily and Patrick to the floor for a first dance before turning up the tunes for a night of dancing.

What a wonderful wedding. Congratulations Emily and Patrick!
