    Boots Before Loafers

As daylight dwindles and nights grow cooler, Colorado’s foliage makes its famous final display of spectacular warm and striking colors. This awe-inspiring display was the inspiration for Elizabeth and Edwin’s DIY decor and color scheme for the big day. Elizabeth’s bridesmaids and flower girls wore varying styles of copper and burgundy dresses, colors which can be found in reception details and the bridal bouquet. Edwin looked dapper in his white coat, tie, and finest boots. Inspired by Rocky Mountain National Park next door, Elizabeth and her mother crafted decor that showcased the couple’s appreciation of the great outdoors. Tables were named after their favorite National Parks, the guestbook was a photo of Yosemite Falls in California, and small details showcased beautiful natural scenes and animals. Following a fabulous dinner from Jubilations Catering, these two took to the floor for a round of the popular “Wedding Shoe Game” hosted by Denver DJ and Lighting. Hoisting their favorite boots in the air and earning laughs at their own expense, these two were all smiles. To be frank, there’s not a single photo where these two don’t look proud and happy to be marrying each other, just as it should be. We can’t congratulate these two enough and we’re so happy to have been a part of this special day. Rebecca Milam Photography
