A Rose Gold Gathering
Siwen and David’s May wedding was a playful blending of Chinese and Jewish cultural traditions. Their color palette featured blush and gold accented with bright spring flowers.
Siwen and David booked Estes Park Trolley to provide a safe ride for guests before and after the reception. As they arrived, they made their way past the personalized wooden welcome sign leading them to the outdoor ceremony site.
Cocktail hour kicked off with live music and beverages on the deck overlooking Fall River Valley. Jubilations Catering passed out delicious appetizers as guests warmed up around the fire pits.
The golden table linens were accented by blush linen accents. Gold represents good fortune and wealth in Chinese culture, while rose is Siwen’s favorite color (and new last name!). These two chose to give personalized chopsticks as a wedding favor to all guests, another nod to Siwen’s Chinese heritage. The wedding cake came from Colorado Rose and featured a blush “Mr. & Mrs. Rose” cake topper.
After dinner, Tunisia Band fired up the party and guests let loose. Celebrating David’s Jewish heritage, chairs were brought to the dancefloor and Siwen and David ascended for the Horah dance.
Siwen and David, thank you for celebrating with us and congratulations!
