February Fairytale

The colors were bold and the winds were blowing for Sydney and Ed’s winter wedding. Take a look at the gorgeous ivory and red color scheme, so appropriate for February festivities!

It was a cold morning and snow was swirling in the high mountains, which made for quite the view from the salon patio. Sydney and Ed wrote each other love letters to read the morning of their wedding, which brought more than a few happy tears. After a few hours getting ready and clinking drinks, these two were off to the ceremony site for a chilly outdoor ceremony.

Heaters ablaze and shawls in hand, Sydney and her bridesmaids looked stunning against the snow and newly blue skies. Eager to share the ceremony with those that couldn’t make the trip, they appointed a few tech-savvy family members to livestream the ceremony.

After the ceremony, they made for The Chateau to warm up and take some family photos before going into the National Park for couple portraits. Cocktail hour took place on the indoor balconies as the reception hall was transformed with red and ivory decor.

The tables featured ivory linens with ruby accents and towering gold flower pedestals with florals from Lace and Lillies. When guests were invited down, they found custom leather key rings at their place setting as a favor for joining the celebration.

After dinner, tables were parted and Pure Sounds Productions served up hit after hit to keep the dance floor moving. Meanwhile, Jubilations prepared a s’mores bar as a late night dessert. Finally, Sydney’s inner ‘Dancing Queen’ came out for one last song before her and Ed made their way through their friends and family and off to their honeymoon suite!
