Luminous Love

Chic and sophisticated was the decor for Mitra and Willy’s magnificent summer wedding. As the sun fell and the music played, their custom neon sign illuminated against the Rocky Mountain silhouette.

Mitra and Willy knew they wanted a destination wedding because their friends and family were scattered throughout the country. Della Terra offered exactly what they were hoping for: mountain views and the option for their guests to treat themselves to a luxury suite. Mitra’s father immigrated to Colorado from Iran, which added a sentimental layer to this already beautiful landscape.

Lace and Lillies created a whimsical ceremony setting by hanging white wisteria across the pergola. The couples honored the blending of their cultures by including a Persian sugar and honey ceremony and a chuppah canopy, symbolizing unity. They asked a long-time friend to officiate, who gathered and incorporated sentiments from many of the guests who attended the wedding.

Following the ceremony, the two ventured into Rocky Mountain National Park with Nate Shepard Photography for an magnificent photo session. Getting married a quarter-mile from the National Park entrance has some serious benefits.

Light and love refracted through the many glass candle holders and chargers, creating an elegant and enchanting atmosphere. Table linens, candles, and florals were subtle in shades of ivory but the beaded glass chargers turned up the style. Navy napkins and greenery accented the tables to add bold pops of color. This classy look is owed to the creativity of the couple and their planner at Blue Linden Weddings & Events.

It’s hard not to smile your way through these incredible photo memories. Congratulations to Mitra and Will!
