Rustic Winter Charm

Heather and Jonathan’s wedding was straight out of a winter wedding dream board. Snowy skies and chilly weather were made comfortable with warm colors, raging fireplaces, candlelight, and adorable hot cocoa wedding favors.

While Jonathan got ready in the theater, Heather headed to the honeymoon suite to put on her wedding dress and fur jacket. Pine trees were silhouetted by the glimmering morning sun, offering a gorgeous setting for the first look photos.

DIY florals flanked the pergola and the chiffon swooped from hook to hook, framing the stage beautifully. As guests arrived, they were offered a wedding program and personalized blanket to stay warm during the joyful ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests headed indoors for cocktail hour where the upstairs fireplaces provided some much needed warmth. Heather and Jonathan also joined cocktail hour to mingle with guests and take a few polaroid snaps for the guestbook while the early winter evening arrived.

As everyone made their way down to the reception space, the darkened room was alit with votives and tall candlesticks. The banquet style seating was adorned with sage table runners, eucalyptus, candles, and wooden chargers. Each seat had it’s own cozy charm. Atop the wooden charger sat a menu and a hot cocoa mix in a jam jar.

Following a delicious and beautifully presented meal from the local catering company Bird’s Nest, Heather and Jonathan were invited to the center of the room for their first dance. Afterwards, Soundmaster Entertainment kept the dance floor moving until the grand exit up the main staircase.

What a perfect day that encapsulates love and the spirit of winter weddings! Congratulations, Heather and Jonathan!
