Enchanted Forest

Kinsey and Michael’s fantastical forest themed wedding was compromised of one stunning scene after another. Like a fairytale garden party with a Taylor Swift soundtrack, the vision and decor of this August wedding is sure to inspire any bride-to-be.

The morning of the wedding was all fun for the wedding party while Kinsey’s decorating teams were bringing her dream to life. Quick to declare the wedding Taylor Swift “inspired, not themed,” Kinsey wanted to pay tribute to the artist because her music holds a special significance to their relationship.

The ceremony site florals were inspired by music video imagery, featuring cascading greenery and florals from the pergola. They wanted their ceremony to suit their values, so it was important that the verbiage emphasized the equality in their relationship. The result was a wonderfully romantic and quaint ceremony in the midst of a stunning Rocky Mountain landscape.

As guests moved indoors, they were welcomed to the gorgeous reception hall. Ivory linens were accented by wisteria and lagoon, which anchored the truly unique details. Kinsey spent the year prior to the wedding thrifting lanterns, bottles, fairy lights, and other decor. With her vision in mind, Palmer Flowers created impressive floral displays and The Perfect Touch took her eclectic decor to create this cohesive and enchanting theme.

Kristopher Lindsay captured the day perfectly. Any given photo of Kinsey and Michael almost blur the lines of real life and fairytale, from their first dance to the glowing sunset photo session. While they were off for a quick late-night galaxy photo shoot, the guests were getting down with Top Hat Entertainment on the dance floor and hamming it up in the photo booth.

Kinsey and Michael’s wedding was certainly unforgettable for all that attended. Congrats to the newlyweds!
