We’re in the most festive of spirits after Breana and Matt’s vintage, holiday-themed wedding!
Breana and Matt were friends first before falling in love, so they wanted to be sure that their wedding theme truly represented “them”. This romantic pair LOVE vintage styling and celebrating the holidays. They chose a mid-November wedding date that would let them incorporate their favorite traditions from Fall, Winter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving — all with vintage flair!
Guests were treated to 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Their perfect mountain setting was a gorgeous match for Breana’s wintry and woodsy décor. Breana and Matt exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony, complete with hot cocoa and cider to keep guests cozy and warm. Breana stunned the crowd in her tea-length ivory skirt, lace bolero top and birdcage veil with pearls. To complete her vintage look, she wore a timeless pair of Kate Spade bridal shoes with gold glitter heels (a gift from a close friend)! Matt donned a classy black tux with a black and white bow tie to complete the couple’s retro look.
From florals to food, the seasonal holiday touches abound in Breana and Matt’s wedding details:
- Centerpieces and table decor were created using reclaimed tree stumps, pinecones and evergreen. Laser cut luminaries filled with Christmas lights were sprinkled through the room, and guests found their seating assignment cards tucked into miniature pinecone card holders.
- Fall themed elements weren’t left out! Pumpkins painted golden, pecan pies, and a Thanksgiving-themed dinner menu were a few of the seasonal details that wove their way into the wedding day.
- Winter wonderland! A cozy winter vibe covered the wedding – expressed through snowflake details and a bridal bouquet of cranberries, sage, white roses, evergreen sprigs and golden baby’s breath. The bar selections even featured a winter cocktail list for guests!
- Christmas movies like Elf and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation played silently in the background of the festivities. At one point, Matt even donned a Santa hat for a few festive photos to use for the couple’s upcoming Christmas cards!
Everything turned out beautifully. Breana and Matt received so many compliments on the cozy, fun, laid-back atmosphere of the wedding. For this happy pair, the day was perfectly “them”. Congratulations newlyweds! Thank you for giving us such a gorgeous and festive wedding experience to relive during this holiday season.
