On a splendid Spring day, Rebecca and Scott said “I Do” among their closest friends and family.
Guests were treated to a most happy occasion when they arrived for Rebecca and Scott’s April wedding at Della Terra. Rebecca was the most beautiful bride, and her bridesmaids were each chosen from a different area of her life. The groom and his groomsmen were handsome in their grey suits, with Scott in ivory accents and the groomsmen in powder blue vests and ties!
Scott and Rebecca’s ceremony was perfect and sentimental. The bride and groom chose to plant a tree together as a symbol of their union, but the most unexpected part of the ceremony came at the very end! As the newlyweds walked off the stage, they were greeted by a chimney sweep! He was a surprise to all of the guests, and a representation of a long-standing tradition in the family. After presenting a small gift, the chimney sweep was on his way and Scott and Rebecca exited their ceremony through a tunnel of cheers and rose petals tossed by their guests!
During the reception guests were treated to a delicious dinner, a deluxe dessert bar (including grandma’s cookies), and a three-tier wedding cake with King and Queen chess pieces as cake toppers.
Our favorite decor highlights from Scott and Rebecca’s wedding were their engagement photo table numbers, “parchment scroll” taffy favors at each place setting, their vintage luggage card box, and the bright Spring florals throughout.
After dinner, guests danced the night away! There were even glow stick necklaces to add to the festive feel of the dance party.
Scott and Rebecca, it was truly a dream to be a part your beautiful celebration. Congratulations!
