Where do we start with this stylish and elegant celebration? Kelsey and Brett pulled out all the stops for their romantic winter wedding at Della Terra!
Brett proposed to Kelsey at Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. So when it came time to plan their wedding, Kelsey and Brett knew that they would wed in the mountains that hold a special place in their hearts. This pair chose a December wedding, and incorporated a stunning “wintery Christmas” vibe into their decor.
Kelsey and Brett’s reception room was breathtakingly beautiful – vases of pine cones, ornaments, and glittery snowflakes adorned the room. Glittering Christmas trees added a classy holiday feel to the celebration, and bridesmaids’ gold dresses shimmered underneath fur shawls.
During the ceremony, guests were treated to a sentimental exchange of vows, with a snowy winter backdrop. The bride and groom made custom embroidered blankets for their guests to take home as favors from their December celebration. Kelsey wore her grandmother’s mink during the ceremony, and looked as elegant a bride as we’ve ever seen! The ceremony ended with the couple exiting through a toss of red rose petals, and toasting with champagne over the signing of their marriage license. Guests headed inside to warm up at cocktail hour with the couples’ his and her signature drinks – Pomegranate Sparkles and Mountain Mules!
Kelsey and Brett have climbed many mountains and traveled many places together. The couple named their reception tables after lakes, 14ers and even the ballpark where they met!
After dinner, the formal festivities were done, and a rocking dance party was underway to celebrate the newlyweds! In between dancing, guests treated themselves to Kelsey and Brett’s photobooth in the balcony. Hours later, guests headed home – full of excitement for the newlyweds.
Kelsey and Brett, your beautiful wedding was one for the ages. Congratulations!
