There’s definitely something magical about a colorful vintage-style wedding in the mountains. Jamie and Nick’s gorgeous chic June wedding will make your heart skip a beat, with a day filled with vibrant florals, rustic touches and pretty chiffon dresses. A perfect combination for a perfect couple!
- Ceremony: During the ceremony, they locked a custom-made wine box with a bottle of wine and sealed love letters they had written to each other inside. The tradition follows that they are to open the box on their 5th year wedding anniversary, read the letters to each other over wine, and then replenish and open on their 10th anniversary, and so on. They had a light rain shower midway through their outdoor ceremony, but they were prepared with clear umbrellas for all of the guests and wedding party. They were blessed with blue skies for the rest of the day!
- Style: Jamie chose a color palette of soft champagne and sea-green tones which complimented the casual mountain charm of their Rocky Mountain wedding. They incorporated weathered wood table numbers, small aspen placecard holders, and vintage wooden boxes filled with flowers.
- Florals: Their flowers included bright roses, orchids, stock and peonies with pops of pink, yellow and teal that made our hearts sing!
- Reception details: Their party favors were candy mints in brown paper bags at each place setting, handmade by the mother of the groom. The pretty placecards had custom calligraphy on gorgeous flower framed cards.
Thanks Jamie and Nick for sharing your day. We are so happy for all of your new beginnings!
