Alyssa’s wedding story began when a California cowboy stole her heart by asking her to dance. He spun her around on the dance floor for years to come and continued the tradition to a live country band on their wedding night. Theirs was a rustic, elegant 4-day destination wedding where cowboy boots met aspen accents and the room gleamed with gold and champagne glamour.
Bride Alyssa wore gorgeous cowboy boots paired with a stunning custom gown from Emma and Grace Bridal Studio of Denver. Bridesmaids donned soft, lovely, mint dresses by Mori Lee while the groomsmen wore classic Vera Wang suits. Centerpieces included vintage birdcages filled with various sized pillar candles, which topped blush satin dining tables.
DETAILS WE LOVE:
- The couple wrote their own vows and chose Alyssa’s father’s best friend to marry them. He had watched her grow up which added to the emotions of their vow exchange.
- Centerpieces included birch vases filled with hydrangeas, stock, greenery and branches, surrounded by gold votives. Their decor topped camel satin dining tables.
- Their decor consisted of several family DIY projects that gave the room romantic and vintage ambiance. Cake stands were built by hand with plates and ice cream dishes from thrift stores and then painted gold. Table numbers and signs were designed and printed by bride which were then framed in gold. Cake decorations were created by the bride and groom’s aunts.
- Rocky Mountain themed wedding favors were created by hand. Her sister designed the labels for traditional brown bags that were filled with bulk candy.
Alyssa and Steven, yours was an absolutely stunning wedding for a stunning couple!
