Erica and Jim’s rustic-themed April wedding in Estes Park was unlike any other. The bride’s Texas country roots and the groom’s background as a professional outfitter and sportsman combined rustic country with a love of nature.
Their sunny outdoor Colorado ceremony was framed by a wooden arch decorated with an abundance of soft, romantic flowers. The bride entered the ceremony on a dramatic horse drawn carriage escorted by her two brothers. The country style reception was adorned with champagne tables, deer antlers, and flower petals in shades of light creams, greys, and pinks.
Features We Adore:
- With Jim’s professional hunting background, the couple spent the year before harvesting wild turkey in Nebraska, Bison in Colorado, and Geese on the Colorado Front Range for their wedding meal.
- The bride bought a Watters dress at a boutique in Dallas and decided to completely gut it to create her gorgeous vision of Victorian meets rustic.
- Their unique cake toppers were a gilded buck and doe to add golden elegance and bring in the couple’s nature/hunting theme.
- The bridesmaids got to select their own dresses and boots, as the only requirement was their chiffon dresses coordinated with the flowers.
Everything for this day was customized around the couple’s roots & passions as well as their love for one another! Congratulations Erica and Jim!
