This beautiful blend of DIY vintage items and romantic elegance had us smiling from ear to ear! We love seeing the bride and groom incorporate their own sense of style into this Springtime wedding.
One thing we immediately love about Laura and Ray’s wedding is the personal touch they add to their decorations and floral arrangements. Ray created a sign when he first proposed to Laura and this idea helped spring forth the use of vintage furniture, bird cages, and candle holders. The wedding ceremony was decorated with beautiful cream colored furniture placed at the alter which was created by the bride and her cousin. The reception also incorporated the furniture, including a special table decorated for the bride and groom.
Their use of yellow and green decoration accents matched their sun filled wedding day! Each part of the wedding details incorporated a lovely blend of yellow and green, matching the budding blossoms all around this May wedding. The details of each aspect beginning from ceremony all the way to reception showed the couple’s creativity and unique approach to styling our venue. Here are a list of a few things we adore:
- Hand painted and refurnished furniture
- Beautiful floral arrangements inside various sized birdcages
- Yellow and green flowers accented with metallic pearls
- Horse-drawn carriage departure
- The color coordinated groom and groomsmen socks!
- Homemade signage
- Creative desserts of DIY s’mores and individually candy apples
Congratulations Laura and Ray! May your love creatively spring forth anew for all the years to come!
