Where do we begin with describing this breathtaking wedding? Megan and Brian are a match made in heaven, and their wedding day was filled with all of the love and romance that these two are so lucky to share together.
This amazing couple dreamed of an outdoor wedding ceremony in the mountains. Though the skies brought a little good luck rain shower before their ceremony began, the weather cleared just in time for them to celebrate their marriage in all the glory of the Rockies – without a raindrop in sight.
During their wedding ceremony, Megan and Brian exchanged personalized vows and planted two aspen trees. This unique unity ceremony expresses two families joining together through the symbol of aspen tree roots. Aspen trees are unique in how their root systems grow together to create a large and resilient system to support the life of the trees. Together, Megan and Brian vowed to be each other’s strength, unfailing support system, and partner in life.
Once these two had joined as husband and wife, and all the happy tears had been cried, it was off to celebrate for the rest of the evening! Megan told us that she really wanted to celebrate the beauty of Colorado’s natural surroundings, so she opted to keep the wedding decor natural and organic. All of her design ideas were centered around the concept of a “whimsical bohemian forest”. Everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY!
- Table linens, bridesmaid dresses and even the invitations featured soft sage colors. Accents on both decor, attire, and invitations featured soft pink and magenta florals.
- Megan’s couture wedding gown by Claire Pettibone completed her flawlessly romantic look. She was every bit the dreamy queen of her bohemian forest wedding.
- Inside the reception room, table decor included gold chargers, hunter green linen napkins, and golden leaf ornament favors for each guest. Centerpieces featured aspen and birch logs, lush greenery and magenta florals. Fairy lights and green glass vases accented the room. Each bit of detail was flawlessly executed by both Megan and her florist – Simply Home Florals.
After dinner, the newlyweds danced for hours along with their family and friends. Dessert included an italian cookie bar and ice cream sundaes from Glacier Ice Cream out of Boulder. The festive party was the perfect end to a day of such romance, one that Brian and Megan will have sealed in their memory forever.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! Your wedding was truly one for the storybooks!
