Rustic Wine and Mountain Charm

Dominic and Megan were engaged for three years before they celebrated their marriage with a wine-themed, fun-filled Fall wedding. Their perfect celebration was worth the wait!

Under a crisp blue September sky Megan and Dominic exchanged vows with family and friends. With Dominic’s Italian family and Megan’s deep Colorado roots, the pair opted for a vineyard and mountain rustic feel to all of their decor.

A few of our favorite details:

  • Megan made all of her table centerpieces out of wine bottles that were wrapped with burlap or lace. The centerpieces also featured an overturned wine glass with the head of a flower under it.
  • Sticking with the wine theme, the couple had two authentic wine barrels framing the area around their sweetheart table at the reception.
  • Wooden decor was a major theme throughout the day. The majority of the decorations were rustic and made of wood, Dominic and Megan burned their name and initials into wooden plates as well.
  • Mason jars filled with flowers provided a special touch around the room.
  • Dominic and Megan’s initials were adorned throughout much of the decor, personalizing every detail throughout the room.
  • The newlyweds own a 72 Mustang that they were able to use as a classic “getaway vehicle” and take some awesome photos with!

During the reception guests were treated to a popcorn machine, cupcakes for dessert, and snacks from the couple’s DIY snack bar! When it was time to toss the garter, Dominic had a custom-made football with the couple’s wedding date to toss to his groomsmen.

Through it all, the newlyweds were elated to finally get to celebrate their wedding day together. Megan and Dominic, we are thrilled that you chose Della Terra as the backdrop to your most special of days, and hope that you made a thousand beautiful memories with your family and friends!
