A Folky Kind of Love

A wedding of rustic, woodsy, folky charm……YES PLEASE!

Carrie and Brian’s wedding will have you smiling from ear to ear.  Anytime you see a groom with a banjo, you know you’re in for a treat!  From the adorable ceremony/reception wood sign, to the Arnold Palmer station at the ceremony, to the whimsical programs, to the folky live music during cocktail hour, this wedding was chock-full of lovable details.

Their natural and romantic color scheme of peach, grey, ivory and champagne is one of my all time favorites.  The grey groomsmen tuxes with peach ties highlighted the elegant full length bridesmaids gowns beautifully, and Carrie’s lace strapless wedding dress was nothing short of breathtaking. As for the rustic details in this wedding, where do I begin!?  The gorgeous centerpieces consisted of wood slabs, vases full of peach and ivory roses and dusty millers, a framed menu, and floating candles.  For party favors, they gave each guest an adorable burlap bag holding a magnetic bottle opener monogrammed with their mountain logo.  They had a small woodsy cake atop a large tree stump, along with lots of yummy cupcakes on wood discs.  Cornhole was set up by the waterfall, providing entertainment for all ages. And all those cute hand written signs you see throughout this wedding….. made by our crafty Carrie.

Nothing beats a folky mountain love story!
